Two and a half of the best grass greens in the region. Running between 12.5 and 15 seconds depending upon the weather. The greens, clubhouse and bar – along with the views of Coolangatta Mountain, at Heads Bowlo provide for a very pleasant experience.

Chubby Challenge Cup is a six-week barefoot bowls event for first time bowlers to have fun and experience competition bowls for the first time.  Each team will comprise three players with one player usually being an experienced player.  Bowls equipment and instruction is provided in a relaxed fun environment. 

Bowls coaching is free for players of all ages and abilities on Saturday mornings at 10am and other times by appointment.  Contact Heads Bowlo on 4448 7154. You can always come for a rollup. Just check the Weekly Program to see what times are available. Jacks and mats are available in the green surround’s locker. 

Barefoot Bowls

Barefoot Bowls is also available for just $15 adults and $5 children which includes equipment and instruction. Barefoot bowls is perfect for your next gathering or business event.

New Bowlers Pathways

Shoalhaven Heads Bowling and Recreation Club makes taking up bowls easy. We have a few bowler pathways designed to assist new bowlers. Once you enter a pathway, you will be made welcome by our Bowls Committee and members who will give you every encouragement along the way.

Open Tournaments
