Two and a half of the best grass greens in the region. Running between 12.5 and 15 seconds depending upon the weather. The greens, clubhouse and bar – along with the views of Coolangatta Mountain, at Heads Bowlo provide for a very pleasant experience.
Bowls coaching is free for players of all ages and abilities on Saturday mornings at 10am and other times by appointment. Contact Heads Bowlo on 4448 7154. You can always come for a rollup. Just check the Weekly Program to see what times are available. Jacks and mats are available in the green surround’s locker.
Barefoot Bowls
Barefoot Bowls is also available for just $15 adults and $5 children which includes equipment and instruction. Barefoot bowls is perfect for your next gathering or business event.

Jack Attack
Jack Attack is Bowls Australia’s social-competitive version of bowls which can be enjoyed by new and experienced players. It’s a fun, fast, and fresh style of play, which is taking place at clubs across Australia. The event is open to everyone, including businesses and organisations wishing to enter a team.
The game is a four to six-week competition, staged on a midweek evening. The emphasis is on having fun with up to $1,000 prize money, pending number of teams entered. The evening is a hoot while listening to great music and mingling with members of the community.

New Bowlers Pathways
Shoalhaven Heads Bowling and Recreation Club makes taking up bowls easy. We have a few bowler pathways designed to assist new bowlers. Once you enter a pathway, you will be made welcome by our Bowls Committee and members who will give you every encouragement along the way.
Open Tournaments
Shoalhaven Heads Bowling Club presents three Open Tournaments each year. The tournaments are open to all affiliated bowling members.

Our weekly Affiliated member competitions are available to all Affiliated member visitors by putting your name down at the clubhouse the day before. The competition costs are $10 per game. Check the Weekly Affiliated Games and calendar below for more details.
